Cathedral of St. Francis of assisi

Charles Messina grew up in Metuchen. He was not raised in a religious environment, and as a young adult he began studying history and philosophy. It was through these studies that a curiosity for religion took root inspiring Charles to read the Bible. Years later, his friend Zach invited Charles to attend Mass. The experience of the Mass had a profound effect on Charles which led to his commitment to attend Mass regularly. Soon after, he realized that the Catholic Faith is the one true faith. He looks forward to being in full communion with Christ and His church by receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil.
