Jerlin Garo lives in Edison. She enjoys reading, drawing, painting and spending time with family and friends. Although Jerlin had no prior religious affiliation, her mother kept her close to God through prayer. It was the sense of community that Jerlin experienced in the Catholic Church through her attendance at Mass with her mother and with her Catholic High School classmates, and the desire to be closer to God, that caused her to seek full Communion with the Catholic Church. Jerlin has grown closer to God through reading and reflecting on the Gospels and sharing her journey with the RCIA Community. She looks forward to finding ways to give back to the Community what has been given to her and hopes to one day raise a family within the Catholic faith.
